Meet Bingo!
Bingo landed at MARS covered in matted hair, fleas, and tree sap. He is the sweetest and most playful little ball of fluff you'll ever meet! He is very attentive when you speak to him and he loves to play with tennis balls and rope toys. 
Bingo was found wandering the street, and turned in to animal control. The owner was located, but it was apparent that they could not provide proper care for him. His hair was matted and stained, he had fleas and was malnourished. We were contacted by the animal control Officer, and asked if we could help him, and of course we accepted him immediately. He has been very sweet to everyone here, and gets along nicely. He appears to be potty trained, but has had a few accidents in his crate, but given the major life-changing events, and stress that can be caused from being in a shelter, he has done very well, and we are very pleased that he transitioned well.

• Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
