Meet Gideon!
This beautiful pup is one of a litter of 4 Great Pyrenees/black Labs that are looking for loving homes. They were turned in by their owner after their dog got out of their yard and "went on a date". As it so happened, about two months later, these beauties arrived. The owner was not able to care for the puppies, and wanted them to find good homes.
These puppies will be BIG. We are estimating their mature weight around 90lbs. Please keep this in mind when applying to adopt one of these pups. They are very attentive, and would make great additions to moderately active families. They would do well with kids and other pets. They are eager to please and are very smart- they would benefit from learning lots of tricks and being well- socialized.

Applications are usually processed within ONE BUSINESS DAY. Once approved, you will be able to schedule a meeting with an available animal for our upcoming adoption event!
- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
